Lizelle Draai

Lizelle lectured at the University of Cape Town for 5 years in Business Law and Company Law and also in Information Technology where she completed a Masters degree in Commercial Law with her minor dissertation in Information Technology. The University of Cape Town is one of the foremost universities in Africa and the world. Prior to lecturing at UCT, Lizelle spent 5 years (including articles of clerkship) at Webber Wentzel Attorneys. Following on from her lectureship at UCT, Lizelle has been practising for 13 years (estates administration), 13 years as a notary public and 11 years as a conveyancer.
Lizelle has thus developed extensive experience in the Administration and finalisation of Deceased Estates, in Contracts, in Last Will and Testaments and in Notarial practise. 

 The focus is in the following areas:

• Liaising with the Master in matters pertaining to estate administration

Andy Draai

Andy qualified as a chartered accountant and was registered with SAICA prior to commencing with his legal career. Andy completed a Diploma in Insolvency Law and Practice (with distinction) through the University of Pretoria and an Advanced Short Course in Business Rescue Practice through UNISA. He completed his LLB at UNISA and did 5 years of articles before being admitted as an attorney. His Masters in Town Planning and his CA experience have been invaluable in assisting clients. Andy’s serving CA articles at KPMG and his work in their Corporate Finance, Corporate Restructuring and Liquidations Departments respectively has enabled him to bring a level of professionalism and organisation into the legal practice that sets it apart. Andy has extensive experience in Insolvent Estates and in Deceased Estates, including some really large and complex estates. Andrew was appointed Director effective 13 November 2023.
